Savor the Season

It was my pleasure to shoot for Break the Cycle, an organization committed to stopping domestic violence in youth.
The venue was the Wallis Annenberg building at the California Science Center. There was a multi-course meal lovingly prepared by local chefs, music by the USA Sirens and Nonet, and a silent auction.

Surprise in the LA Sky

I’m still not sure what made this because I only saw the results. My wife and step-kids called me outside to report what they initially thought was a falling star. I was surprised I could capture it this well without a tripod.
Anyone have any ideas?
Update: It was a satellite being shot into orbit, not space [...]

Congratulations Yvonne!

Our good friend Yvonne was cast in her first film role out of the blue. She came by today to have me shoot a quick portrait session. Break a leg, Yvonne!

Aadree’s Portrait Session

I was the meddling photographer today, showing up for my step-daughter’s photo session for her Quincenera. While the official photographer was shooting posed images, I dropped by with one of my favorite lenses, the Canon 70-200/F2.8L, to get some candid shots.
I think she looks great. And guys-please back off. She’s only fifteen.

Another SoCal Sunset
