A great friend and relative with marriage went to her eternal reward this past Friday.
When I think of Beatrice, the one word that comes to my mind is “selfless.”
Whether she was fighting against Walmart opening a megastore in Inglewood, or raising her grandson Anthony, Beatrice would always put herself last on the list. Even after her diagnosises of cancer and hepatitus that made treatment difficult, she continued to be more concerned about everyone else.
I feel honored that her family allowed me to prepare this slideshow that will be shown during her memorial service.
I think the picture below was the last I took of her. It was her grandson’s dedication at Calvary Chapel South Bay. Beatrice is on the right, next to my beautiful wife.

What a beautiful presentation for her friends and family. Looking at the life of Beatrice was a blessing to me. She is now dancing for the King!!
