Manhattan Beach Wedding | Amerika and Mike

There are a lot of things I could use to describe this wedding, but I think the most fitting is : When two worlds collide, anything can happen.

Amerika (or Merika as she is know to friends) and Mike were born and raised half a world apart and had a first meeting that can only be described as serendipitous and inauspicious. Side note: I’ve always wanted to use those words together in a sentence.

Yet here they are, happy and in love.

It was my pleasure to be there any capture their wedding. Here are a few of my favorites so far.

The bride and groom on the cliffs above Malaga Cove. (inside joke: It’s very territorial here)

Let’s go in a little closer.

And closer still…

Finally, here’s a quick shot of their rings that shows off the beach motif from their reception at the historic Redondo Beach Library at Veteran’s Park.
